Two-hour delays for several area schools

Schools across Central Iowa will have a two-hour delay to the start of classes Thursday.

An Arctic blast of cold air has forced the Perry, Panorama and Woodward-Granger community school districts to announce a two-hour delay for the start of the school day Thursday. The delay includes St. Patrick Catholic School in Perry. Evening activities are scheduled to be held as planned.

Others with a two-hour delay include ADM, DC-G, and Ogden schools. Greene County will also have a two-hour delay, with no morning preschool or morning activities.
