Perry Community School District Superintendent Clark Wicks has announced that one student at the Perry Elementary School and one student at the Perry High School have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Jan. 6.
The elementary school student tested positive Tuesday, Jan. 5, and the high school student tested positive Wednesday, Jan. 6, Wicks said. In addition, 12 students will be quarantined.
“All other students can attend classes as normal,” he said.
The SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 39 students and 19 staff members since classes began Aug. 19 in the PCSD, according to communications from the PCSD. The list of cases follows.
