A man inspects the damage to a passenger car that was involved in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday on Iowa Highway 141.

A two-vehicle collision blocked the westbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141 near the Dallas County Hospital early Sunday.

No injuries were reported in the mishap.

Officers of the Perry Police Department are investigating the crash, which occurred about 2:45 a.m. just east of 12th Street on the state highway.

One of the passenger cars came to rest in the roadway and pointing northward in the westbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141, and one car came to rest pointing eastward on the south shoulder of the roadway.

The vehicles were separated by about 50 feet, and both appeared to sustain front-end damage in the collision.

Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and the Dallas County EMS also responded.
