An SUV and a passenger car collided about 8 a.m. Monday near the intersection of First and Dewey avenues in Perry.
One person was transported with injuries to the Dallas County Hospital by the Dallas County EMS.
Both vehicles appeared to sustain front-end damage. The SUV left the roadway and came to rest on the northwest parking. The passenger car came to rest pointing eastward on Dewey Avenue.
The two-vehicle mishap is under investigation at this hour by the Perry Police Department.
The Perry First Responders and Perry Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
