A pickup truck and a passenger van collided on Willis Avenue at 18th Street Monday morning, slowing traffic near the schools.
No injuries were reported when the Dodge truck and the Perry Community School District van crashed about 7:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Willis Avenue.
The vehicles came to rest in the intersection, blocking the southbound and eastbound lanes. Both vehicle sustained front-end damage.
Several school buses waited on Willis Avenue for the accident to clear before they could proceed to the Perry Middle School and Perry High School.
The Perry Police Department responded to the incident and started an investigation.
