A four-door Chevrolet passenger car left the roadway and came to rest in a yard at Willis Avenue and 16th Street about 6 p.m. Sunday after colliding with a minivan.

A two-vehicle accident Sunday about 6:30 p.m. on Willis Avenue at 16th Street has slowed holiday traffic and reminded revellers the streets are slick.

The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS responded to the incident, which left a passenger minivan in the middle of Willis Avenue and a passenger car off the roadway and in a yard northwest of the interestion.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this hour as are the extent of injuries, if any.
