A rear-end collision occurred at the intersection of Willis Avenue and Eighth Street Thursday morning in Perry.
One person was transported to the Dallas County Hospital by the Dallas County EMS.
The midtown crash occurred about 10 a.m., when a Honda passenger car with out-of-state plates struck a Chevrolet SUV from the rear in the eastbound lane of Willis Avenue.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
The Perry Police Department responded and investigated.
