A Jefferson woman was arrested for drunk driving Monday night after she was involved in a multi-vehicle collision near Bouton.
Brooke Renae Venteicher, 40, of 207 N. Olive St., Jefferson, was charged with first-offense OWI.
The collision occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the 24500 block of Iowa Highway 141.
A juvenile occupant in Venteicher’s vehicle was examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident, which appeared to involve at least four vehicles, with several coming to rest in the median with significant damage.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders and Bouton Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
