The water main break experienced Thursday by the city of Minburn will not be repaired until Friday, according to Minburn City Clerk Kris Fitch.
“Low water pressure will likely be experienced until it is fixed,” Fitch said Thursday afternoon. “There is still a possibility that water will need to be shut off tomorrow during the repair.”
A boil advisory will become necessary if the water is shut off, she said.
“Depending on the severity of the break, there is a possibility that water will need to be shut off to all or part of the town,” Fitch said.
Fitch said any area of the town where water is shut off will be placed under a boil advisory once the water service is restored.
