REMSEN, Iowa — The Remsen woman reported missing Monday has been found happy and healthy with her boyfriend in Vermont, according to a statement released Tuesday by the Remsen Police Department.
Nicole Ann Trometer, 27, reported her whereabouts about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to Iowa law enforcement officers and was later positively identified by the Franklin County Sheriff’s office in Vermont by means of her Iowa driver’s license.
The Franklin County authorities said Trometer was in good health and told them she traveled willingly to the eastern state with Daniel Kittredge.
At this time the missing person’s investigation will be closed, police said.
