An Urbandale man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Thursday on charges of child pornography.
Jesse Vernon McLearn-Montz, 24, of 4430 142nd St., Urbandale, was charged with five counts of first-offense purchase/possess depiction of a minor in a sex act.
According to court records, officers of the Urbandale Police Department executed a search warrant Sept. 16 at McLearn-Montz’s residence.
The search allegedly disclosed “over 70 pictures and 50 videos depicting child pornography” saved on a USB drive and “hundreds of photos of child erotica located on external hard drives,” according to court records.
McLearn-Montz is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 24 in Dallas County District Court.
