A bicycle collided with a motor vehicle on Iowa Highway 141 at Eighth Street Friday afternoon.
The cyclist was apparently not seriously injured in the crash, according to public safety radio traffic.
The incident occurred about 1:30 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of the state highway.
The cause of the collision is unknown at this hour. Officers of the Perry Police Department are investigating the incident.
The Dallas County EMS also responded.
Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution during next week’s annual RAGBRAI bicycle ride across Iowa.
