A car became stuck in the mud after leaving the roadway of Eighth Street on the north side of Iowa Highway 141 early Friday.
No injuries were reported in the one-vehicle mishap.
The Perry Police Department responded and investigated the circumstances of the incident.
A tow service was summoned to remove the Mitsubishi convertible, which was resting partially on the travel surface of the roadway.
