Woodward-Granger High School graduate Jennifer Griffin joined the Iowa Army National Guard Monday as a 42A Human Resource Specialist, according to Sgt. Jana DeKoter, career counselor with the Iowa Army National Guard.
DeKoter said Griffin will receive 100% tuition assistance along with the GI Bill and GI Bill Kicker.
“She heads to training in September!” DeKoter said. “Congratulations!”
Women like her are why most people have no problem with politicians postulating that the Iowa National Guard might be needed to protect property (and unfortunately, at this point, even lives) against the rioters. She is a great young lady, and we all should not worry a bit if she and our other neighbors are in the Guard helping to protect us.
