WOODWARD, Iowa — Madrid will visit Woodward-Granger for a WCAC boys/girls basketball set Friday, with W-G encouraging all fans to wear red to the games.

Red was the favorite color of Madrid student Noah Moore, who died Monday as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Alden.

Madrid honored late W-G student Drew Jacobson in December of 2015 with a “red out” of their own when Jacobson was fatally struck down by a rare medical condition.

Action will begin at 6 p.m. with the girls game.

A memorial fund for the Moore family is available for donations at the City State Bank in Madrid in person or by mail at 105 E. Second St., Madrid, IA 50156. A GoFundMe page has also been created for the Moore Brothers.
