A two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the 1900 block of Willis Avenue caused property damage but no injuries and demonstrated road conditions call for motorist caution.
The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Willis Avenue and Ninth Street, when a westbound vehicle driven by Brenda Jean Murphy, 49, of 1408 Otley Ave. in Perry was struck from the read by a westbound vehicle driven by Malachi Moutassim Meri, 16, of 1718 Willis Ave. in Perry.
The Perry Police Department responded and concluded “Malachi is found to be at fault due to following another vehicle too close.”
