The 15-year-old female who ran away from the Woodward Academy campus Friday about 10:30 p.m. was located about 6:30 a.m. Saturday and returned to the campus in Woodward.
A caller to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office reported seeing the runaway on the Beaver Creek bridge on Iowa Highway 141 about 6:15 a.m., and a Dallas County Deputy Sheriff located the girl shortly afterward on O Avenue near Iowa Highway 141.
The deputy transported the minor back to the minimum-security, which is owned by Sequel Youth and Family Services. The company is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, and has 53 office locations in four countries.
