A youth who fled from the campus of the Woodward Academy this morning about 7:35 a.m. was apprehended about one hour later and returned to campus, according to a Woodward Academy spokesperson.
The resident was reported to have fled westward from the campus, entering a cornfield.
The Woodward Academy spokesperson said she could not reveal which law enforcement agency caught the young fugitive, but both the Woodward Police Department and Dallas County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to the scene.
