WOODWARD, Iowa — The boil order issued Tuesday for the city of Woodward was officially lifter Thursday shortly after noon, according to a message from the Woodward City Hall.
“The boil alert is over,” said an emergency alert. “The water is safe to drink. All water tests came back negative.”
Boil order in effect for the entire city until further notice!” “Do not drink the water out of the tap. You may shower and do your laundry. Please check local postings and media for updates!”
The boil notice was announced Tuesday after a break in a water main forced the interruption of the city’s water service.
