Eight Dallas County workers were honored Tuesday at the meeting of the Dallas County Board of Supervisors in recognition of their labor in service to the people of the county.
Christopher Horak and Greg Whitney were recognozed for five years of service in the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, and Thomas Blair was thanked for five years of work in the Secondary Roads Department.
Congratulated for 10 years of labor for Dallas County were Molli Loyd of Dallas County EMS and Nicholaus Petersen of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
Recognized for 15 years of service to county residents were Ted Trewin of the Dallas County Environmental Health Department, Lisa Crawford of the Dallas County Recorder’s office and Teresa Shelton of the Dallas County Treasurer’s office.
The workers received certificates of recognition from Dallas County Board of Supervisors Chair Brad Golightly and Supervisors Kim Chapman and Mark Hanson. Dallas County TReasurer Mitch Hambleton and Dallas County Recorder Chad Airhart were also on hand to thank the workers from their offices.
