- An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
- An Ogden resident reported being harassed via text messages. An officer spoke with person sending the texts and advised him to stop or he would be charged with harassment.
- An officer arrested Mark Blanchard, 30, of Des Moines for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and alleged possession of marijuana.

- An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 319 N. First St.
- An officer responded to the Ogden High School for an intrusion alarm. Everything was okay.
- An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 308 E. Walnut St.
- An officer responded to the Ogden High School for an intrusion alarm call.
- An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 349 S. First St.

- An officer responded to 307 N.E. Fourth St. for an incomplete 911 call. It was determined to be a phone line problem.
- An officer responded to 419 S.E. Second St. for a suspicious person. The person left before the officer arrived.
January 3, 2017
- An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary School. This was set off by a delivery person.
- An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy in serving an arrest warrant on Sondra Millard, 34, of Ogden. Millard had three outstanding warrants and was transported to the Boone County Jail.
- An officer arrested Susan Houseman, 56, of Ogden for three out-of-county warrants. Houseman was transported to Boone County Jail.
- An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary School. This was set off by an employee.

- An officer responded to 301 S.W. Second St. for a incomplete 911 call.

- An officer received a report of a person walking on U.S. Highway 30. The officer was unable to locate anyone.

- An officer assisted the Iowa State Patrol and a Boone County Deputy with a two-vehicle accident in the 500 block of U.S. Highway 30.
- An officer responded to Vision Bank on a report of an intoxicated person.
- An officer assisted the Boone Police Department in attempting to locate a vehicle involved in a gas drive off from Casey’s in Boone.

- An officer investigated a minor property damage accident at S.W. Fifth and W. Mulberry streets.
- An officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 300 block of W. Walnut Street.

- An officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 600 block of U.S. Highway 30.
