  • A caller said “someone dumped a refrigerator (doors off) in front of her residence by the fire hydrant.” An officer responded.
  • Three incomplete 911 calls were received.
  • A caller requested a welfare check on someone. An officer responded, and the person was not at home.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “with a young girl with her kitten that was stuck in a toy.” An officer responded and “was able to free the kitten.”

June 19, 2017

  • A 17-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for first-offense curfew violation.
  • A 15-year-old female from Perry was issued a citation for first-offense curfew violation.
  • A caller said a suspicious person “was outside of her residence.” An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “she was messaging someone for online dating, and they were talking about bestiality and being attracted to younger girls.” An officer responded and advised the woman “not to speak with him anymore.”
  • A caller reported “garbage all over the road.” The caller “said she even saw a car seat.” An officer “responded and found numerous trash bags had been placed in the street.” The officer “moved them back onto the curb.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
