  • A boy entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “his mom’s car won’t start, and he needs  to go to school.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she needed “help to get into her apartment.” An officer responded.
  • A found billfold was “logged into evidence.”
  • A caller from the Perry Community School District reported “two students who have not been to school since Thursday.” The Perry Police Department School Resource Officer responded.
  • A caller said “he was bitten last Friday by a Great Dane.” An officer responded.
  • A student informed the Perry Police Department School Resource Officer that “her vehicle was broken into while parked at the high school.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said his vehicle was damaged while at a local repair shop. When “he asked the employees for their insurance information, they refused to give it.” An officer responded and told the man it “was a civil issue and to take the matter to small claims court.”
  • A caller reported “three teens on the corner” who were “smoking cigarettes.” An officer responded and found “no evidence anyone had been smoking.”
  • A caller said “while at the T-ball field she had a dispute with” someone, and the person “started hollering obscenities at her.” An officer responded and helped settle tensions.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said her husband was “missing.” She “said she hasn’t heard from him since Saturday.” An officer responded and learned the husband “emptied out his bank account on Saturday,” and “it was possible he left town on his own.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
