The Dallas County Emergency Management Agency said severe weather is forecast for the Perry area, with several rounds of storms beginning Monday evening and continuing through Tuesday.
The most severe weather for Dallas County will likely begin about midday Tuesday and last until the early evening.
The National Weather Service office in Johnston said large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes will be possible Tuesday, along with locally heavy rains. A few thunderstorms are also possible early Wednesday, the NWS said, but the severe weather potential is low.
