Bicycles beyond count packed downtown Perry this morning for the kickoff of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce’s 40th annual Bike Ride to Rippey, better known as BRR.
The Perry Lions Club hosted a breakfast at the Hotel Pattee, where the Knights of Columbus raffled off a new bicycle from Raccoon River Valley Bicycle Company. Numerous events will be held in Rippey and along the route both there and back again.
