Rainy Friday morning weather did not prevent 50 or more Perry Chamber of Commerce members and other community members from gathering for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Perry Perk coffeehouse.
Perry Perk owner Tari Mason and assistant manager Betsy Guthrie shared the shears in slicing through the Chamber’s blue ribbon as the appreciative assembly cheered and clapped.
Mason moved Feb. 6 to her present roomier space at 1201 Warford St. after opening on Christmas Eve of 2013 in the original coffeehouse at 1218 Second St.
