Several members of the Perry Bluejay and Jayette cross country teams have earned All-Academic honors from the Raccoon River Conference. To earn the distinction, an athlete must be a letter winner, in grades 10-12, and have a 3.25-4.0 GPA.
Eduardo Sanchez, Tomas Lopez, Hayden McFarland, Taylor Eppert, Angela Hernandez, Molly Lutmer, Kailey Crawford, Cris Gomez, Kennedy Tunink, Bailey Piper and Hannah Peterson were recipients of the All-RRC honors.
The Jayettes also collected the IGHSAU Distinguished Academic Award for a cumulative team GPA of 3.25-4.0 on a four-point scale.
Perry is coached by Ryan Marzen, with Scott Pierce, Jen Sprung and Andrew Hamer assisting.
