PANORA — Senior guard Bailey Beckman helped lead Panorama to a 22-2 record this season, and her efforts in doing so have earned the Dordt College bound standout recognition on a pair of All-State teams for Class 2A.
Beckman was named to the Second Team for the second consecutive season by the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. She was chosen for the Third Team by the Iowa Coaches Association after claiming Second Team honors as a junior.
Panorama was 84-12 in Beckman four seasons, reaching the state tournament in 2018. She led the Panthers in scoring each of her four years.
Beckman departs as the career scoring leader for Panorama with 1,579 points. Her 144 career 3-pointers are also a school record.
She scored 471 points this year, fourth-best in 2A and an average of 19.6 points per game. She was 40-of-120 on 3-point attempts and 99-of-135 (73 percent) at the foul line. In addition she pulled down 92 rebounds, made 83 steals and distributed 53 assists.
