PELLA — The Perry boys track team participated in a select few events at the Central Indoor Meet March 18.
Reece Dunlap sped to sixth place in the 60 meter dash in 7.32 seconds. He later joined Marcus Meri, Adan Medina and Alexis Garrido to place ninth in the 4×400 in 3 minutes, 49.28 seconds.
Meri also ran the 200, finishing in 25.83, with Beau Briles clocking in at 1:02.23 in the 400.
The Bluejay and Jayette thinclads will open their respective seasons Thursday when they host the 9th annual Davis Relays at Kaufman Track, with the meet to begin at 4:30 p.m. Perry has combined the Bluejay and Jayette Relays into one event this season, which will be held April 14.
