Bluejay track team competes at Wildcat Relays

CARLISLE — The Perry boys tracksters made a trip to Carlisle Tuesday to participate in a 12-team meet, with the Bluejays scoring 48 points to place eighth overall.

Carlisle won the meet with 140 points, with Nevada totaling 113 points for second place and Norwalk 102 for third place.

Kaleb Olejnicak ad Reece Dunlap placed 1-2 in the 400, in 53.08 and 53.25 seconds, respectively, with Dunlap fourth in the 200 in 23.51 while Brandon Kenyon crossed second in the 800 in 2 minutes, 5.14 seconds.

Dunlap, Kenyon, Olejniczak, and Kato Dougan sped to second place in the sprint medley in 1:37.72, with the foursome of Olejniczak, Dougan, Mana Martinez and Justin Stammer sixth in the 4×100 in 46.92.

Dougan added a team point in the long jump by placing sixth after landing 19 feet, 9 inches from the board.

The Perry boys will be in action Thursday at the DC-G Invitational.
