The Perry Bluejays boys basketball team beat the Boone High School Toreadors Tuesday 55-40 in Boone.
Junior Geren Kenney led Perry scoring with 16 points, followed by senior Brandon Mahler with 14 and junior Owen Myers with 10.
Myers led the Bluejays with 7 rebounds, with senior Kaelan Davis pulling down 6 and Kenney 4.
Senior Drake Levan led the Bluejays in assists with 7. Sophomore Gustavo Drahos and senior Egan Leber also suited up for the Bluejays.
The Jayette cagers fell to the Boone High School girls basketball team 53-21 Tuesday.
Junior Tayrn Nehring led Jayette scoring with 8 points. Freshman Lily Myers and senior Callie Steva each pulled down 11 rebounds and also led in assists, with senior Maci Tunink adding 2 more assists.
The Bluejays and Jayettes have non-conference play Thursday night in Ogden and a conference matchup against Nevada Friday night in Perry.
