Bouton Betterment breakfast offers fall fare Saturday

Early-rising Bouton natives King Paschell, right, and Bob Davisson, center, were among the first in line for the hearty homestyle food served Saturday at the fall Bouton Betterment Committee breakfast at the Bouton Community Center.

The Bouton Betterment Committee serve up platefuls of sausage, ham, eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, hash browns and toast Saturday morning and filled countless cups with coffee, milk and orange juice at their fall fundraiser.

The three-hour feed started at 7 a.m., with proceeds from the fundraising meal supporting street improvements and beautification projects in the town of 135.

A significantly larges number attended than the population of Bouton, including an early delegation from the Perry Lutheran Home.

Baked good were also be sold.
