Burlington men sought in March 17 beating death

BURLINGTON, Iowa — The Burlington Police Department seeks the public’s help in finding two suspects possibly connected with the March 17 murder of a Burlington man.

Des Moines County warrants for first-degree murder have been issued for Markell “Kellz” Dishe Price, 25, and Majestic Alexander Malone, 26, in connection with the death of Edward “Eddie” Breuer, 59.

Price and Malone are considered armed and dangerous, according to a statement issued Friday by the Burlington Police Department.

Price is described as a black man, 6 feet tall and weighing 225 pounds. Malone is a black man, 5’7″ and weighing 170 pounds.

Breuer died Sunday at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington as a result of a head injury. Breuer “had a young spirit and was a very social person. He liked Mt. Dew and enjoyed walking around town everyday cleaning up pop cans,” according to his obituary.

Stanley Baldwin, 49, was arrested Sunday in connection with the incident.
