Cardenas-Diaz welcomed to snowy meeting of DCARSPA

Angelica Cardenas-Diaz, left, was welcomed to the March 7 meeting of the Dallas County Area Retired School Personnael by Co-President Julie Walstrom.

Members of Dallas County Area Retired School Personnel Association (DCARSPA) braved the weather March 7 to celebrate another local success success story: Angelica Cardenas-Diaz.

Angelica came to Perry in 1995. After graduating from Perry High, she attended Des Moines Area Community College and later graduated from Clark College in 2003, making her the first person in her family to attend college.

She is currently a guidance counselor at Perry High School.

Angelica was welcomed to the meeting by DCARSPA Co-President Julia Walstrom.
