A Celebration of Life for Ruth Bathel will be held Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1220 Fourth St. in Perry.
Friends and family are invited to attend. Following the celebration will be some snacks and refreshments.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)
We are thankful for the opportunity to honor the memory of this dear saint who was such an important part of this ministry for years. We rejoice in the hope that she has departed to be with Christ which is far better! Our hope is for the return of Jesus Christ and a grand reunion with her and so many others who have gone ahead.
