ALLEMAN — Perry and North Polk played two quarters of exhibition girls basketball Tuesday, with the host Comets outscoring the Jayettes 42-17.
Junior Molly Lutmer had 15 points for Perry, with sophomore Kennedy Tunink adding a basket.
Gabby West, Quinn Whiton and Hannah Peterson also started for Perry. Others on the varsity this season are Ainsley Marburger, Jayna Kenney, Peyton Tunink, Lillian Robles and Odaly Perla.
Perry begins their season Friday with a trip to Des Moines North. They will host Newton Tuesday, with both contests girls-only junior varsity/varsity events beginning at 6 p.m.
The Jayettes are being coached this season by Skylar Wolfe, with Ashley Fricke and Jordan Siler assisting.
