The Friends of the Perry Public Library will host their annual Crafting with Friends fundraiser on Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the McCreary Community Center at 1800 Pattee St. in Perry.
Visitors are invited to come and support the Perry Public Library at this fun and creative craft event, which helps raise money for the Friends of the Library, who provide a major source of financial support for the library’s programs and services.
All crafters are welcome — from card makers and scrapbookers to yarn enthusiasts and quilters — to do whatever you can craft-wise on a 6-foot table. Bring your friends for a get-away day filled with laughter and crafting.
The $40 registration fee includes a reserved 6-foot table, beverages, lunch, supper, snacks, desserts, door prizes, vendor access and 12 hours of crafting and fun. Register online through the Perry Public Library website, in person at the Perry Library or email Misty at mvonbehren@perry.lib.ia.us.
