Smiles abounded, laughter was constantly heard, and it was clear a special night was had by all at Saturday’s fifth annual Daddy-Daughter Dance at the Perry Elementary School.
Over 150 proud poppas and their adorable daughters attended the event, which was sponsored by the PHS Junior Class Prom Committee. Daughters and dad dates began arriving before 6 p.m. with the dance lasting until 8 p.m.
Photos were available from Jamison Studios, with refreshments and glow ropes also for sale. A popular sidetrack proved to be the nail-painting station, where many young ladies were happy to have their nails colored by the “big girls” from the junior class.
Proceeds will be used to defray costs for the upcoming Perry Prom.
