- Ashleigh Venn of Adel was traveling near the 118 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when a box spring came out of the back of the truck in front of her, and her vehicle struck it. The driver of the truck was Katherine Edaakie of Zuni, N.M. Edaakie was issued a citation for no insurance. Damage to Venn’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
April 12, 2018
- Corissa Margaret McCoy, 24, of 708 Carla Dr., Chesterton, Ind., was arrested at the 110 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Gaylan Edwin Worthington, 22, of 605 Omaha St., Redfield, was arrested near this address for driving while license suspended, failure to have a valid license, no insurance and failure to carry registration card.
- Zachary Lee Steven Crawford, 29, of 1901 First St., Boone, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear on original charges of willful injury, possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended and escape from custody.
- Katie Lynn Armstrong, 27, of 4123 S.W. 26th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of theft.
