April 24, 2019
- Marshall Hoyt of Perry was traveling north on E Avenue and attempting to turn west onto 150th Street when the front wheels of the semi-tractor trailer he was driving slid into the ditch, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side. When it rolled, some of the farming liquid nitrogen it was carrying leaked out. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,000.
April 25, 2019
- Anthony Allen Mundy, 53, of 801 Pleasant View Dr., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of forgery.
- Sarah Jean Decker, 34, of 6565 Wistful Vista Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of electronic or mechanical eavesdropping.
- Travis Leon Beam, 49, of 12775 N.W. 82nd Ave., Grimes, was arrested in the 21000 block of Iowa Highway 141 in Perry for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
April 26, 2019
- Michael Scott Schmitz, 31, of 2625 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of disarming a peace officer and assault on persons in certain occupations.
