- Leonard Sloan Thompson of 319 N. Seventh St., Winterset, was traveling north in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
- Curtis Gene Hoyt, 54, of 922 10th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
- Keegan C. Sinclair, 23, of 213 S. Hazel Ave., Ames, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance.
April 6, 2019
- Curtis Kent Jacobson, 58, of 4036 15th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fourth-degree theft.
