- Diane Jenkins of Ida Grove was traveling in the 17000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

- Alexander Johnson, 27, of 1003 Walnut St., Dallas Center, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of fifth-degree criminal mischief.
