- Clint Nelsen of Perry was traveling in the 21000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
December 9, 2017
- Gregory Chapman of New Hartford, Iowa, was traveling in the 28000 block of County Road F90 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
- Tori Long of Grimes was traveling in the 23000 block of Willow Street in De Soto when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $12,000.
- Jacob Roberts of Madrid was traveling south in the 14000 block of Y Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle, which entered the ditch and came to rest in a creek. Roberts fled the scene and was found near the crash sight in a corn field. Roberts was transported to Mercy Main by Dallas County EMS.
- Joel Feldman of Adel was traveling in the 32000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
December 11, 2017
- Vincent L. Alexander Willcox, 22, of 1106 Dale Dr., Winterset, was arrested at Bryan and Eighth streets in Adel for carrying weapons, possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.
