- James Lantz of New Providence, Iowa, was traveling near the 100 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 and was attempting to slow down due to weather conditions when his vehicle was struck from the rear by a vehicle driven by Chad Wilhelm of Rochester, Minn., who was also attempting to slow down. No injuries were reported. Damage to Wilhelm’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Lantz’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
