May 3, 2023
- Joel Gonzales Rojas of Des Moines was traveling in the 23000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Arthur Mayfield of Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage to Rojas’ vehicle was estimated at $1,000, and damage to Mayfield’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Rojas was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
May 5, 2023
- Nicholas Clayton, 33, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Cole McClellan of Omaha, Nebraska, was traveling on 14th Street near Maple Street in Dallas Center when he lost control of his vehicle, which struck three mailboxes. No injuries were reported. Damage to McClellan’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to each mailbox was estimated at $100.
May 6, 2023
- Darwin Sarceno, 18, of 1814 Estella St., Perry, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Tonya Decamp, 47, of 1404 Greene St., Adel, was arrested for OWI, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drug.
- Alex Kirkpatrick of Perry was traveling on 360th Place near 360th Street when he missed a curve, and his vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Kirkpatrick was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
May 7, 2023
- Hunter Kinzie, 22, of 512 S. 12th St., Adel, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
