- James Thomas Puhr, 23, of 5437 N.W. 26th St., Des Moines, was arrested at 801 Court St. in Adel for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

- Stacey Countryman of Redfield was traveling in the 31000 block of Old Highway 6 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $15,000.
- Sylvia Cohenour of Van Meter was traveling in the 29000 block of 360th Street when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $15,000.
