November 25, 2020
- Mahmoud Itani, 62, of 32869 Hideaway Lane, Adel, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Ronald Heitman of Council Bluffs was traveling eastbound near the 109 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he slowed for an accident, and his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Christopher Rowe, Omaha, Nebraska. No injuries were reported. Damage to Heitman’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Rowe’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000 damage. Rowe was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

- Joshua Riley of Dawson was traveling in the 17000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
- Dylan Slater of Clive was traveling in the 33000 block of K Avenue when he pulled off the roadway, and the soft shoulder caused his vehicle to slowly roll into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.

- Larry L. Morgan, 37, of 2111 S. Virginia Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of public intoxication.
- A juvenile male driver was traveling westbound in the 28000 block of 322nd Place when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $4,000.
- Linda Hurt of Adel was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 169 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

- Michelle Bacon of Perry was traveling northbound in the 16000 block of N Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
