- Thomas C. Ransom II, 47, of Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on original charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance going armed with a knife blade.
- Joshua M. McKee, 38, of 1015 Clinton Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for violation of parole.
- Amy L. Duffy, 36, of 809 N.E. Broadway Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for driving while suspended.
- Suan Laidley of Peoria, Arizona, was traveling westbound on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 100 mile marker when he lost control on the wet road, and his vehicle hit the cable barrier and came to rest in the median. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $12,000.
- Ashley J. Buchanan, 33, of West Des Moines was traveling westbound on 335th Street when she failed to navigate a turn onto Wendover Road, and her vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000. Buchanan was arrested for first-offense OWI and issued a citation for failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
