January saw the return of a familiar face to the Fareway family when Dariel McNamara resumed her station with the Perry retailer she has worked with since 2014.
Dariel and her husband, John McNamara, relocated to Missouri in August, but the love of Perry has drawn them home again. They have lived in Perry 25 years and raised their family here.
“Big changes are kind of scary, but you only live once,” Dariel said last summer. And if you only live once, it might as well be in Perry, she said Saturday, standing behind the cash register with her winning smile.
“It’s good to be nearer the kids and grandkids,” she said.
Dariel and John have five children — Levi, Austin, Melissa, Mariah and Amy — and four grandchildren.
