A game effort from host Perry was not enough to upset Class 2A No. 4 ADM Tuesday at Dewey Field.

The Tigers scored three first-half goals en route to the win while holding the Jayettes to just eight total shots on goal in posting a 4-0 victory. The win lifted ADM to 10-1 overall and 6-0 in Raccoon River Conference play while Perry fell to 4-7, 2-3.

ADM scored in the sixth minute to take a quick 1-0 lead, adding scores in the 15th and 25th minutes for a 3-0 halftime lead. A goal in the 52nd minute capped the scoring.

Freshman Kimberly Castillo made seven saves in goal while playing the first 66 minutes for Perry, with Odaly Perla stopping two shots in the final 14 minutes of action.

ADM was also a winner in the junior varsity game, claiming a 10-0 win.

Perry visits Carroll Thursday and Indianola Friday to cap the week.
